Hi there, I am Dinica Williams, a Marketing Specialist with expertise in content, design, and data analysis. I have worked for various organizations in both the private and public sectors from DC Comics to labor unions.

I bring insight, research, and expertise from my 20+ years of experience in Marketing. My keen eye for trends in the industry allows me to assist you with current needs as well as create a plan to guide you forward. Data analysis allows organizations to make better strategic decisions. In addition to data analysis, I bring data science practices and experience to help you create positive and growth-based solutions for your digital and marketing needs.

As a digital and marketing designer, I am passionate about the aesthetics of any project, but it’s also important that every design choice makes sense and serves the strategy of your organization. I will help you make sound, strategic decisions that accomplish your objectives.

Let’s talk about how I can help you get from here to the future you envision

Here are a few projects I’ve led that highlight my skills and experience:

  • Led a cross-functional team of members and staff in a data-driven user-centered website redesign process. Conducted one-on-one interviews with members and worked with vendors to develop a predictive model of user satisfaction from an online survey of web visitors. Analyzed and provided the narrative for key metrics to the Board of Directors and leadership. The new site was more intuitive and resulted in a 10% improvement in overall user satisfaction, a 20% decrease in bounce rate, and a 200% increase in the average time on the site.
  • Started the social media program for the Ohio Education Association, which grew to include Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn. Grew Facebook page to over 111,000 followers. Worked with the Director of Communications & Government Relations to develop KPIs and benchmarks. Interpreted social media analytics for leadership and the Board of Directors, and recommended strategic and tactical improvements.
  • Managed the social media accounts for the Oregon AFL-CIO — Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram — throughout the primary and general elections. Conducted an initial social media audit to provide the organization with the status of its digital program and benchmarks to monitor moving forward.

My mother combined part of my aunt's name and part of her name to come up with Dinica. It's pronounced duh • KNEE • ka.
